Boutique hotel brand Edition will be putting its stamp on our island with the new The Singapore Edition that will occupy the site of the former Boulevard Hotel in Orchard.


World renowned hotelier Ian Schrager is to oversee the creation of a brand new luxury EDITION hotel in Singapore.


The 8-storey boutique hotel, with 190 rooms, will be located in one of Singapore's chicest neighborhoods on the former Boulevard Hotel site on Orchard Boulevard and Cuscaden Road.


It is hoped the new property will reinvigorate the Singapore hotel sector with its luxury-lifestyle brand that combines the personal, intimate, individualized and unique guest experience

EDITION Hotels is part of Marriott International, an American hospitality company that manages and franchises a broad portfolio of hotels across the world.


An American entrepreneur, hotelier and real estate developer, Ian Schrager is often associated with co-creating of the Boutique Hotel category of accommodation. Originally, he gained fame as co-owner and co-founder of Studio 54.

The Architect - Moshe Safdie

Moshe Safdie is an architect, urban planner, educator, theorist, and author. Over a celebrated 50-year career, he has explored the essential principles of socially responsible design with a distinct visual language. A citizen of Israel, Canada and the United States, Safdie graduated from McGill University. After apprenticing with Louis I. Kahn in Philadelphia, Safdie returned to Montréal to oversee the master plan for the 1967 World Exhibition.


In 1964, he established his own firm to undertake Habitat ’67, an adaptation of his undergraduate thesis and a turning point in modern architecture.
